About me
My name is Petrus, I’m in my mid-20’s. I’m currently a full time volunteer in ‘not-for-profit’ service.
I grew up in country that was not my own, and have traveled quite a bit. In general I find people–their, cultures, traditions, worldviews, values and lives very interesting. I’ve lived in or visited: the US, Thailand, Cambodia, Burma, Vietnam, India, Pakistan, Lebanon, Jordan, UAE, Taiwan and have generally enjoyed the experiences I’ve had in each country. I enjoy discovering new things in life and I love reading and learning new things.
On the deeper side of life: I believe in God’s love for every human being and I try to be a follower of Jesus and help others to think of the needs of their immortal souls and spirits.
The main reason for this blog: To communicate thoughts, ideas, and spiritual input that inspired and encouraged me.
I also wanted it to be a medium for positive thinking, gratefulness for God’s blessing in life, making an effort to turn negative outlooks around and thanking God for the things He sends my way—the good and the not so good. In spite of a natural tendency for negativity and cynicism, I hope positiveness will become more a part of my life and outlook as time goes on.
I will intersperse my posts, with quotes and stories from varied sources and authors as I come across them. Basically, anything I find interesting, uplifting, thought provoking, encouraging or humorous. I probably won’t post that often (once a month) but you can refer back to any stories or posts you if you like them. Use an RSS reader if you want to keep track of what I post.
My personal wish is that you will find things here that are positive, encouraging, uplifting and maybe even enlightening.

ur blog is really good.it is also good to see many people who are willing to share their experiences and feelings. i started reading urs from the big nose article.it is great.
after viewing ur blog, i am reminded once again that i am not the only one who is suffering and bothering for the personal or social problems.
ummm…by the way, i think ur nose is also not that big from ur photo.since u are also westerner, ur face shape and ur nose size is just right. i have also seen many guys who possess the bigger nose than urs. and u are right to get urself out of this miserable world of unsatisfication upon what u got.
