About me

My name is Petrus. I grew up in country that was not my own and traveled the World.  I find people–their, cultures, traditions, worldviews, values, insights, experiences and lives very interesting. I’ve lived in or visited: the US, Thailand, Cambodia, Burma, Vietnam, India, Pakistan, Lebanon, Jordan, UAE, Taiwan, Mexico and have enjoyed the experiences I’ve had in each country. I love discovering and learning new things in life.

Regarding the deeper side of life: I believe in a Creator and in the Creator’s love for every human being. I also try to be a follower of Jesus and help others think of the needs of their immortal soul and spirit.

The main reason for this blog: To communicate thoughts, ideas, and spiritual input that interested, inspired and/or encouraged me.

In spite of a natural tendency for negativity and cynicism, I wanted to learn to be a medium for positive thinking and gratefulness for God’s blessing in my life. Making an effort to turn negative outlooks around and thanking God for the things He sends my way—the good and the not so good. I hope positiveness will become more a part of my life and outlook as time goes on.

I probably won’t post that often (once every two months). Mostly it will be quotes and stories from varied sources and authors as I come across them.

My personal wish is that you will find things here that are positive, encouraging, uplifting, enlightening and beneficial to your life.
