Behind this imperfect body
Lies a heart that wants to reach out

Behind this frail outer casing
Lies a spirit of strength

Behind this clumsy demeanor
Lies a loyalty that’s sincere

Behind these varied complexities
Lies a shatter of forgotten dreams

Behind this hearts locked chamber
Lies past heartbreaks overcomed
